Real Steel AntiTrailer – The Truth About Hugh Jackman’s Robot Boxing Movie

Don’t get us wrong, we didn’t hate Real Steel. We were just disappointed is all, but what’s worse is that batch of movie trailers commissioned to help push the “everybody loves Real Steel” messaging which, considering the below 60% score on Metacritic, is not the reality. How can advertising get away with citing random Twitter users or using “from the studio that brought you…” as ways to sell their movie? We’re tired of it.

So we got thinking, what if we cut a trailer with negative buzz quotes from a movie? And with that, the AntiTrailer was born, and Real Steel became the first victim. We still love ya, Hugh, just make better choices next time.
