Not to be confused with this seemingly homemade fan video, this big budget, special-effects laden teaser video of what seems to be Cloverfield 2, boasts not an amphibious monster, but something much more sinister lurking in Japan.

JJ really wanted a different approach, eh? Awesome teaser trailer. Looks more shaky than the first, though. WHY MUST JJ TORTURE US SO?
That Gundam statue is so much bigger than previous images made it out to be… wow.
It’s HUGE. Towering over trees and in comparison to the tiny Godzilla statue on display near Hibiya Park, an insult to kaiju fans! It also turns its head, shoots smoke out its jetpack of its back, and speaks in Japanese. I think it was telling us that we were all enslaved, but we were too busy waiting on lines to touch its feet to care.
Uhhhh thats a gundam…nothing to do with cloverfield unless jj is making a gundam movie?
