Author David Hughes continues his quest to tell the stories behind film projects that never were. His newest venture, “Tales from Development Hell” has just that — and Film School Rejects debuted an excerpt from the chapter on Frank Darabont’s “Indiana Jones and the City of the Gods” screenplay. L.B. Rayne, the genius who brought us “Skywalking,” one of the few Star Wars-inspired video parodies on YouTube worth your time, is back and this time he’s on The Grid in his brand new amazing retro single “The Groove Grid”… Thanks to The Alathal for the link. Check out Rayne’s two other masterpieces after the […]

28 years of dreaming, hoping, waiting… all come down to tonight at midnight. 28 years from first entering The Grid in 1982’s TRON to diving back in tonight in TRON: Legacy. Is it really happening!? It still seems surreal this film exists. When you wait this long for something, it feels like it should almost […]

Lego Indiana Jones was easily my favorite of the Lego games, and that’s saying a lot, given what a huge Star Wars fan I am, and how great those games were. Â But something about the whimsy and charm of Indy, plus the amazing John Williams score, just made me Jones more Jones. Â And […]

I am LOVING this new trend in taking clips from vintage films to create trailers for modern movies. Behold RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK – exactly as Spielberg and Lucas saw it in their minds at first inception. My guess is that both Steven and George have seen and enjoyed this clip. Too bad the […]

Wish I could say I saw this on my trip to Korea or Japan, you’d think they’d have less respect for Western licenses, but nope, saw this in the Farmer’s Market in West Hollywood, California. If I were a kid, I’d still want ’em; heck, even as an adult, I almost bought ’em. Because it’s […]

Huh? So supposedly the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions are killed, so that Wiis and PS2 can get this. I’m not sure how I feel about this, but it’s Indy so I’m sure Dan will let us know how it is.

Now that The Force Unleashed is out and about, rumors are swirling that the covers will be pulled off the long-rumored Indiana Jones game. To help wet the whistle, here’s the tech demo teaser that was released at E3 a few years back:

Who would have thought I’d be READING Indy IV? Since I erased Crystal Skull from my mind, this seems to be my sole Indy IV experience. I’m on page 85 and so far there are staggering differences. Who has read it? What do you think? Let’s get the boulder rolling.

I like to think he just hit Target, cut through the aisle that most people don’t know about, and bought them before the fan boys. I also at first glance mistook the bottom box as the cereal box, and was gonna flip out as it doesn’t friggin’ exist!!! Saw this story on Indy collector site: […]

I have to think it’s going to perform well this weekend too (though naturally not this well), since there won’t be an action/adventure flick for a while (though movies like Get Smart will eat away at it). Am I wrong that there’s no real movie of consequence coming for a while? Unless I’m underestimating the […]

You know, I never really liked “Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.” Then again, I still don’t like The Phantom Menace, but I guess that all is what it is. However, way back when, Lucas was toying with a couple of different titles (caution, here there be spoilers).

That’s not very good, right? I mean, in comparison? I thought it was on like 9,000 screens! Look at Iron Man go, what a monster. Here’s the breakdown, courtesy of Box Office Mojo. 1. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (Paramount) $101.0 million | 4,260 | $126.0 million | 1 2. The […]
