Soundtrack of the Week: Unbreakable
I love James Newton Howard; I think he’s one of the best of the new breed of composers (though he’s been doing this a long time now). His scores are varied, fun and often very different. One of my faves is Unbreakable, especially the Visions track. It makes me want to stalk someone down a street for most of it, but key moments make me want to lift cars and toss them hundreds of feet. I also think he did great work on Shyamalan’s other films (Signs, Lady in the Water, etc.); beautiful, beautiful stuff. But come check this out and groove as if you’re listening to Enigma:
