Truly one of the best video games ever. I spent the entire summer of 1993 playing this game, all night every night. I learned DOS because I had to hack the game to make it harder.
I loved this, but oh did I lose myself in Tie Fighter more. Remember struggling to achieve secondary or tertiary objectives, without an achievement point incentive?!? Wow… that’s dedication. Or am I making those up?
It was secondary objectives for the evil hooded Sith in the background. Yep, I played that game even more than X-Wing. In fact, I’ve listed TIE Fighter as my #1 favorite video game of all time in many, many lists.
