Indiana Junk and the Forbidden Studio Stage
Gonna protect the innocent but suffice to say that some pallies and I were on the Universal lot today…
…And there was something fun buried within the hidden temple that was Stage 27…
THE SET OF THE NEW INDIANA JONES MOVIE — Is this the “city of the gods” being constructed? Or perhaps just some run-of-the-mill Sumerian temple?
Of course nobody was really on the set except for the builders, who were carving and painting this immense temple out of styrofoam… Apparently the HOT SET was all the way on the other side of the country in New Haven CT, where young Cybergosh was rubbin’ elbows with Mr. Lucas himself.
Anyway, after this sneek peek, I proceeded to hit some fun spots on the studio tour, thanks to my awesome and mysterious host:
