You’re blowing this out of proportion, my good man.  All i did was tell her she’s really cute.  In the first one wink

    Check it out:

March 19, 2007 – Emma Watson, who plays Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter series, suggested last fall that she may not return for the final two installments in the franchise, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. But the films’ producers are reportedly more optimistic now about her return.

Watson is expected to sign a contract soon for films six and seven. “We’re extremely confident that Emma will be back for films six and seven,” a Warner Bros. spokesperson advised CBBC Newsround.

Daniel Radcliffe, who plays Harry Potter, recently committed to the final two films. Rupert Grint is also expected to reprise his role as Ron Weasley.

Warners hopes to begin shooting Half-Blood Prince later this year for a 2008 release, while a 2010 bow has reportedly been set for the last movie, The Deathly Hallows.

Hey, they should all holdout to some extent, make that cash while they can… Not sure that refusing to do more of these movies would do anything to stop stalkers, since there are already so many of these movies out there in the world.  Though I could see these kids really wanting to just take the money and run and not have their lives disrupted by a major production every few months.  Must be fun at first, but then a total hell.  And with so many books to go, it must seem like a life commitment to them.

The only kids to grow up on film more than these kids are the british kids in the UP series of documentary films.  (been watching those, btw.  really not as interesting as you’d hope.  But worth checking out.)

All three have signed.  All three will pay the roles for the remaining two films through 2010!
