Yeah, it’s a commercial for duct tape and it ends with that awkward TRON Guy, but it’s still a clever idea revolving around the TRON light cycles. I’ll take it! At least there’s no RAM in here.

I used to watch the Super Bowl for the commercials. These days, not even those thirty-second glimpses into what awaits during summer are enough to get me excited. And let’s face it, even if there were any ad campaigns of interest, they have a habit of finding their way online before the game even airs. [...]

Sly only gave him one or two scenes in The Expendables. Maybe Stallone should watch these Old Spice spots before he begins work on the sequel so he can see how funny this guy can be. I’d love the Crews character to go nuts and become the Murdock of The Expendables in the sequel.

Will Star Wars always be cool? Naturally, I’m talking original trilogy here, folks. Case in point, this commercial from Adidas showing off Snoop Dogg and friends hanging to a refunkified Imperial March. Guest stars include Lord Vader and the Death Star. I know they’re selling me something, but I just don’t care.

I really wish these kinds of spots ran on American television. I don’t think it belittles the talent. If I like someone, I like someone, not only because they make quality films. In any case, check out this Japanese commercial that spotlights the Inglourious Basterd himself, Quentin Tarantino, making a bit of a fool outta [...]

Palm Pre – the phone you can be smug about, but in a mindful way. Now who exactly are the creepy demographic Palm Pre is trying to get on board with these incessant ads – wispy Wiccans (contradiction?) who might need the occasional technical boost when their clairaudience drops a thought? Intense yoga devotees who [...]

This is a weird one. You run around with your Nintendo DSi (which now has a camera) and just pop it open to scan a real place: the subway station, your office, the bedroom. And every once and a while, you find… gasp… a GHOST!! And then you talk to it, and it has a [...]

The shot at the end is so strange. I can’t tell if that’s an actor that looks like Kirk or Kirk, but it’s freaking me out!

Check out these two different commercials for the new Schick Quattro Trimstyle Razor & Bikini Trimmer. Thanks to the power of YouTube, the viral version, which was originally released in Europe, is causing a stir with American audiences. The TV Spot, which is equally edgy, just a little less “obvious” is showing in America and [...]

I’m an exclusive jetBlue guy – flying them whenever possible even if the price is a bit more. But, I must say, Spirit Airlines recently won me over as my number two fave with their recent $1, $9, & $18 fares from NY to Orlando. They’re now advertising their newest sale on YouTube, and the [...]
