Potter back in IMAX 7-13-07
A special IMAX presentation of Order of the Phoenix will be released simultaneously with the theatrical release on July 13, 2007.
This continues the relationship between IMAX and Warner Brothers. Potter will mark the 13th entry into the WB roster set for the IMAX treatment.
“The Harry Potter series has been a huge success in IMAX theatres,” President of Domestic Ditribution for WB said, “and we are delighted to combine this next exciting installment with The IMAX Experience to offer Harry Potter fans another magical adventure for 2007.”
UPDATE:
Everyone involved is currently exploring the option of transforming a chunk of the film into 3-D. I imagine they will wait and see how well Superman Returns does before making any definite decisions.
