Automaton Trailer – The Robots Are Coming!
In the spirit of the Lost Skeleton of Cadavra (which I thought lost it’s luster after the first 20 mins, but I bore easily… oh wait, a bird!) comes this new flick, co-starring Phantasm ph-avorite ANGUS SCRIMM! It’s called Automatons, and is self-billed as “a low-tech effects film about the horrors of war and robots.” I personally can’t wait.

THIS is the kind of movie we need to be making. Not writing, SHOOTING. Call in every favor, sink in every penny and shoot a flick like this. How much fucking fun would that be.
I don’t think you need to sink in every penny to make a flick like this, which is the beauty of it all—but I’m right there wearing my robot suit when you’re game!
