First revealed by Eurogamer, a photo leaked from production on the upcoming second season of the Fallout show has fans buzzing with excitement. The image showcases the iconic Dinky the T-Rex, a beloved character from Fallout: New Vegas, making a return to the screen. This giant dinosaur statue played a central role in one of the game’s most memorable companion quests.

The photo was initially shared by user FeuTarse on the Fallout subreddit, originating from the fan account FalloutFanArt on X, “The Everything App.” Interestingly, the leak was presented as a set sneak peek rather than the typical fan art content. The image captures a worker putting the final touches on a large T-Rex head reminiscent of the beloved Dinky, set inside a vast warehouse.

Upon digging deeper, it was found that the image had been removed from FalloutFanArt’s timeline as well as an independent post on the FOTV subreddit. Another post by FeuTarse featuring Dinky was also taken down by moderators of the New Vegas subreddit. Fortunately, FeuTarse was able to grab a screenshot of the FalloutFanArt post before its deletion. This reveal of Dinky follows a series of leaks related to New Vegas props and set pieces circulating on social media.

For those unfamiliar, Dinky the T-Rex is the mascot of the pre-war REPCONN rocket company in the Fallout universe. The life-sized dinosaur statue became a landmark in Novac, a settlement in New Vegas, with ex-NCR snipers Manny Vargas and Craig Boone using it as a lookout point. Fans of the game will remember Dinky as a key element in the memorable side quest, “One For My Baby.”
