Oh Funnypants – you get me every time!
That one was a real lollygagger!
That one was a real slacker? Is that what he just said? I think it was a real layabout!
If I could be serious about comedy, just for a moment, let me say that Funnypants is the greatest gift to the world of humor since Gallagher crushed his first honeydew. The subtety of his performances contain nuances only recognizable by the very best of comedic performers.
He does so much with an understated twitch of the eyebrow, or gape of the mouth region. It’s almost as if the punch line itself is secondary to the overall performance. This is zen joke telling, this is an evolution in stage performing.
From his original and unique moustache to his trademark declarations of nonsese words, Funnypants is more than a personality. He is a persona. Kudos, sir – may you live to watch the rest of us turn to dust.
