Stephen Root Brings a Touch of Evil to ‘Resident Alien’ Season 4 as Harry’s Father
The small town of Patience, Colorado is about to get a new visitor from another world in the upcoming season of “Resident Alien.” The talented Stephen Root has been cast in the highly anticipated fourth season of the hit sci-fi comedy series. Fans are buzzing with excitement as they eagerly await the arrival of Root’s character, who is set to shake things up for the show’s lovable alien, Harry.

In case you’ve been living under a rock, “Resident Alien” follows the story of an alien named Harry (played by the hilarious Alan Tudyk) who crash lands on Earth and takes on the identity of a small-town doctor. As he tries to blend in with the human population, his mission to destroy the planet is put on hold when he starts to develop feelings for the people of Patience.
According to Variety, Root will be playing the role of Harry’s father, who will appear in human form to push his son to embrace his alien roots and complete his mission. It’s safe to say that things are about to get a lot more interesting for Harry and the residents of Patience.
Root is no stranger to the world of science fiction, having previously appeared in popular shows like “Fargo” and “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.” But his role in “Resident Alien” is set to be a departure from his usual characters, as he takes on the role of an alien’s father, with a twist of evil.
The addition of Root to the already stellar cast of “Resident Alien” has fans eagerly anticipating the new season. With his comedic timing and acting chops, Root is sure to bring a unique and entertaining dynamic to the show. And as we’ve seen in previous seasons, the writers of “Resident Alien” are not afraid to take risks and keep viewers on their toes, so we can only imagine the chaos and hilarity that Root’s character will bring to the mix.
