Life’s Too Short Premieres on HBO This December

From EW — Ricky Gervais, who spent three seasons telling the story of Andy Millman and other little-known people on movie sets in Extras, is now tackling the lives of little little-known people in Life’s Too Short, which follows the rise and fall of a showbiz dwarf. Warwick Davis and Gervais play themselves, and you can expect Extras-style celebrity cameos — including Johnny Depp — when the show premieres on HBO after Christmas. Devoted Gervais fans will be even more delighted by the appearance of familiar faces from The Office and Extras playing themselves, adding to the new series’ realism.
