BACK TO THE Theaters!

From BTTF.com — Back to the Future fans’ hopes and wishes for a U.S. theatrical re-release similar to that in the U.K. are finally coming true, courtesy of AMC Theatres, which will exclusively present the digitally-remastered film in more than 150 theatres across 40 different markets this October.

Advanced tickets for this very limited engagement are on sale now at www.AMCTheatres.com/bttf for special showings taking place on Saturday, October 23rd at 12:30 PM, and again on Monday, October 25th at 7:00 PM, locally within each participating market. While supplies last, attendees will receive a free full-sized 25th Anniversary commemorative poster identical to the poster used in theaters for the re-release. Each participating theater will have special movie-related giveaways prior to the movie as a part of the big-screen experience.

Back to the Future fans won’t be alone in their enthusiasm for the theatrical re-release. Screenwriter/Producer Bob Gale exclusively tells BTTF.com, “All BTTF fans will be blown away over how great this digitally remastered version looks on the big screen. I swear, it has never looked this clean and beautiful, ever — and may I be struck dead by a 1.21 gigawatt bolt of lightning if I’m lying!”
