That’s great!! I agree…a high end video game is MUCH better than any movie would have turned out.
I have high hopes, especially with EA making the game. The LOTR games were really good for keeping the flavor of the movie in the gameplay.
Where did you see that EA is making the game? I believe right now Universal owns the rights (the game publishing arm there is Vivendi/Universal).
As for the video clip, I think this is the demo that some developer made without the rights for GB. I hope I’m wrong, but from what I read, I’d say this isn’t the game. Of course, the game will probably look identical to this, anyway or similarly awesome, so I wouldn’t worry.
After the clip finished, it showed related clips…one of them a teaser trailer for the game with the “EA” logo at the end.
I assumed it was authentic…because it is on the web after all ;0).
