I really went into this expecting nothing more than a Narnia Wannabe. I didn’t even know it was based on a book. And that was a good thing. So all i will say here and now is that this film is a classic. This is a classic. This is the BEST live-action film Disney has produced in at least the last decade. This is a throwback to something along the lines of what Walt would have overseen back in the heyday of their family live action classics. So please…if you’d like to be very moved and have a great (and surprisingly powerful) time at the movies, ignore the trailer….do as the teaser poster for Willow once said…Forget All You Know…Or All You Think You Know…and cross the Bridge into this amazingly emotional ride.
