I wish I posted this earlier because it’s already been in theaters for a few weeks. But all’s not lost…you can still catch it….because this is a big screen film. See it no matter what but try, try, try to see it on the silver screen.
This is an Australian western that takes place at the end of the Bushranger era..stars Guy Pierce, Ray Winstone and Emily Watson. Written by Nick Cave!!!
What I really liked about this film is that there isn’t a single hero throughout…and the hero character is exactly what one always expects from a western. Everyone is morally flawed. One thing though…wasn’t completely emotionally attached…maybe because of that lack of this sorta character.
And this has to be one of the most..if not the most violent film I’ve ever seen in the theaters.

I’ll catch the film. I can’t believe Nick Cave wrote it. I love Westerns, but I love them for the reason you probably hate them. I enjoy a good hero. And I’m not so keen on the “most violent film ever…” But we’ll see. If I don’t like it, I’m going to kill you.
