Spidey Musical Now Legally Retarded

Share

I hate this show beyond words but seriously, now it’s time for us to stop making fun of it. As of today this production is officially just sad. It’s crossed over a line where now it’s just being mean to make fun of the pathetic little thing.

The $65 million “Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark” Broadway musical will undergo an overhaul that will shut it down for several weeks and cause a three-month delay in its opening date, the New York Times reported. The troubled show, created by director Julie Taymor with music written by U2’s Bono and The Edge, was due to open on March 15. But is unlikely now to open until June, causing its sixth delay, while it holds new rehearsals and gives the cast a break from preview performances, the Times said.

I truly believe the reason ANYONE is paying for a ticket to this at this point is the same reason that people slow down to look at accidents on the side of the road.

I actually really want it to stay open just to keep reading your rants about it.
