Mortal Kombat Rebirth – Live Action Trailer?

What is happening?! As a huge fan of the original Mortal Kombat, and of course the games, I immediately took notice of this: a high-production live-action test scene from what looks to be a new R-rated Mortal Kombat movie. It’s just a test to show studios what can be done, but what a test!

Look for Reptile, Barakka, Jax (played by Michael Jai White), Shang Tsung, Sonya Blade (played by Jeri Ryan, no less!) and what looks like our “hero,” Scorpion in the role of a lifetime. heh… enough banter. Check out the video:
