When it gets down to it, I’m very satisfied with the speed of my 3G, and just about everything else either comes with 3.0 or is waiting on AT&T. </p> <p> The only thing I really, really want in the 3GS is the video camera. Especially for the new kid. Had they allowed me to upgrade this year for $199, I think I would’ve pulled the trigger, but since they won’t, I really think I’m okay to wait. </p> <p> The second lens for the iChat and a physical keyboard are both things that Apple has to be working on-- the former is already deep into development, if you read Engadget, and the latter is just going to make sense if they’re going to really try to destroy Blackberry. </p> <p> Plus-- I’m still waiting to see if Verizon really does strike a deal with Apple to get iPhones next year. If that’s a case, it’s a no-brainer to switch over, since AT&T service in LA is atrocious. </p> <p> All that said, I’m going to wait with my 3G.
