Variety announced today that Conan O’Brien and Andy Richter are back together again. Richter, who was O’Brien’s “Late Night” show sidekick from 1993-2000, has signed on to be the announcer on “The Tonight Show With Conan O’Brien” when the new version of the 11:30 p.m. NBC stalwart kicks off June 1.

While this is cool, I’ll miss Joel, announcer of Late Night. His bits on the show were the kind of creepy stuff i’m hoping won’t become lost in the 11:30 slot.
