I have “Secretary” at home now from Netflix….not that this fact has anything to do with Heath’s death…but does have to do with MAO’s post on Maggie’s screwface. (which was very funny and helped me to “process” the sadness which is Heath’s death)

When asked for comments, Maggie Gyllenhall, his “Dark Knight” leading lady, and sister of his Brokeback Mountain co-star Jake Gyllenhall, had this to say “Goddamn I’m unattractive. I mean seriously...I was never a beauty queen, but I really hit the wall these last few years. Damn.” *

*this is in no way meant to imply all women need to be beautiful. They just do not need to be looking like scary clown masks and popping up in movies I’m interested in seeing.

Hilarious about Jack. I think this is actually good for the film - it will give it a morbid curiosity factor and bring in some people that might have otherwise stayed away.

This is awful. It will be a distraction that makes watching this movie far less enjoyable. One thing to point out which was interesting and absurd - I was eating lunch at Swingers yesterday, which was full of WGAE writers all getting free meals. Once the news hit, EVERYONE suddenly checked their cell phones as they got media alerts and txt messages, almost entirely at the same time. What an age. It was like something out of a futuristic satire.

Of course speaking strictly as a fanboy, now I once again have hope that Crispin Glover might play Joker. But I also want to point out that the Crow did not rock anything after the first movie. The franchise pretty much died with Brandon Lee. Did you ever see the sequels? Shit on toast.

Now do you think Jack is happy or annoyed…happy, because in his mind this proves there can only be one Joker…annoyed, now no one’s going to rip Heath’s performance, especially if they’re afraid of ghosts.
