Aliens Vs. Predator Vs. Me

ALIEN VERSUS PREDATOR REQUIEM Some of this review is cut and pasted from a comment left on the other AvP thread, but I rewrote much of it. Basically, I’m a die hard fan of the ALIENS films because in many ways these were the first horror movies I ever saw and embraced. As with many […]

AVPR SUX

I wrote a brief rant on Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem for UGO, because we didn’t have one, but this is largely the review that I would have written for here (with less swearing). What a disappointment. Any other fools happen to waste their time watching interspecies battling?

I have to say, I’m liking Ed Norton as Bruce Banner. A lot and I don’t know why.

I enjoyed I Am Legend

But the book storyline is so much better. From Wikipedia: The story takes place between January 1976 and January 1979 in Southern California. The novel opens with the monotony and horror of the daily life of the protagonist, Robert Neville. Neville is apparently the only survivor of an apocalypse caused by a pandemic of bacteria, […]

Third Time’s A Charm!

For me, this is and will continue to be one of those classic movie experiences that grows better and mega-better each time i experience it. The amazing Digitalness of the Ziegfeld projection and sound made my third time the best yet yesterday. Each time i see this…and hear this…my appreciation for it enhances. It’s like […]

Dan’s Favorite Pic

I don’t remember what this was from; some teen self-help infomercial, but it was late at night and catching this kid out of the corner of my eye, I thought it looked kinda like the fathead version of Dan. Dan, naturally, hated this video, and I found the clip again and wanted to throw it […]

No Pleasure in this Treasure

Maybe I need to see the first one again, but in watching National Treasure 2, I found myself captivated by the mystery but infuriated by the characters, direction and the constant reinforcement of unnecessary explanations. Movie by movie, Nic Cage degenerates into a parody of himself, making it more and more awkward to watch. The […]

Michael Knight is Back

David Hasselhoffwho starred in the popular lead role as Michael Knight for four seasons during the original series — returns as the same character in a special guest-star appearance. Will Arnett will be the voice of the Knight Industries Three Thousand. This is too bizzare of a project for me not to be a little […]
