<p>I just returned home from OC34 and got to ride this on one of the first days of its soft-opening before it officially opens in February. And i’m sad. I don’t have the energy to go into details. But let’s just say the whole ending now panders to all the ADD kids who get complain that rides like this are boring and constantly need something “to do”. Which is fine. If it were cool. Remember the end of Horizons. That was cool. Why is this, two decades later, not even a fraction of that kind of cool? Why did they feel the need to get Dame Judi Dench to narrate this when Cronkite was fine and should have been brought back to replace Jeremy Irons, who replaced him in the late 90’s. I don’t know. I guess John Lasseter can’t be in all places within the company at once. At least the whole first part of the attraction is pretty much in tact. So some of EPCOT’s original magic is still preserved.
