Wing Commander: The REAL Movies

I love Queeg. I don’t know who he is, but he finished what I started. Years ago, I bought a 3DO so that I could get the best video quality of Wing Commander III: Heart of the Tiger, which I could then edit into a somewhat coherent movie. I wanted to do the same thing with Wing Commander IV: The Price of Freedom as well, but you know how it goes. Thankfully, this gentleman has done the heavy lifting for us for both films, including standard and extended cuts for each! He used the PlayStation version for the FMVs, and I’m hopeful that quality doesn’t suffer, but I can’t tell you how excited this Wing Commander fan is! I just downloaded the Xbox Live Arcade game, Wing Commander Arena, for a bit of nostalgia and while it sports some of the music, it’s just not the same. I hope he does the same with Prophecy, just for completion’s sake.

THANK YOU OH THANK YOU – I have been so tired for 5 days in a row, finally finished my pilot and am looking to melt into my couch.  All I need is to download these movies and then watch em on the big screen – streaming through my 360.

God bless you and Queeg for fucking president.

footnote – 360 cannot stream .avi files.  Nothing in life is easy.  🙁

What files can a 360 stream?

lol, exactly the kind of thing nmancer’s site is good for – you can pretty much call him the DEAR ABBY of tech – I emailed him asking how to rip foreign region dvds and then put them on psp and got back a friggin instruction manual.  The kid is good.

Anyway, here is the link about supported 360 formats…
