It was more lackluster on PC, but I owned both die hard trilogy and the sequel (die hard trilogy 2!) Never was big on the driving sequences for Die Hard III but the first two were great.

My unsung favorite was DIE HARD for the nintendo. You had to traverse EVERY FLOOR of the Nakatomi building, and always had to backtrack to gain access to new areas using keycards or sneaking through vents, etc.

It was like the original Wolfenstein games, had stealth and action aspects, multiple ways to approach obstacles. Very clever.

This game was INSANELY challenging. I played it over and over. It had a top-down view on the action and you would spray your machine gun bullets and control their direction.

I really loved it -shoulda called it PLAY HARD, cuz it was. Never been prouder of completing a game in my life.

Die Hard Trilogy for PS1 is phenomenal, especially if you happen to have a light gun. one of the best PS1 games ever made, actually.

This movie was like Rocky Balboa-- not the movie, but the character. I wanted to hate it and kept beating it up, and it just kept getting back up and taking more beating until it won me over. I didn’t like the dialogue, thought the acting was phoned in, thought the script was paper thin (pun not worthy) and there was nowhere near enough good ol’ fashioned dialogue and way, way too many shots of hands on keyboards.

And yet the inventive action scenes, which were fast, exciting, surprisingly well designed and integrated into the story and shockingly well filmed, won me over time and again.

Thought I’d despise this film and want to tear my eyes out when Kevin Smith appeared, and actually I was fairly even keeled, maybe even leaning toward liking the film and barely offended by Smith. Despite every inclination I had beforehand, I gotta say I think the movie is worth seeing.

Someone call these guys and explain to them the theory of a character arc, though.

I meant DVD. Or if a bunch of friends wanted to see it and I already did, I wouldn’t protest. But I meant DVD.

That’s a real good point about Hostage. That really should have been DH4. There will be another Die Hard game, I’m sure of it, and hopefully it will be GOOD. I’m surprised you’d see this flick again—or do you mean you’d see it again on DVD?

I envy your experience! I wanted nothing more to feel the way you did, but, alas, it is something i can never do. I don’t hate it though. It just goes into the T3 folder of sequels i choose to pretend do not exist.
