Transporter 2 was one of the most ridiculous movies of last year, and while Crank doesn’t look quite as silly, it does look manic and crazed. The basic premise: It’s Speed, but without a bus. The trailer is weirdly cut together, so I don’t know what to expect — but at worst, Jason Statham kicking ass for an hour and a half is better than another Brett Ratner flick, so I may just hit the theater on September 1st to find out how it fares.
