Star Wars TV Series Revealed!

Despite the bad news surrounding the DVD’s, we have a dose of good news this afternoon. Seems Lucas has abandoned the Bounty Hunters theme for the forthcoming live-action TV series and instead opted to center the show around the mysterious Baron Papanoida, briefly seen in Episode III.

Lucas’ three children will star in the show alongside their dad, reprising his role as Papanoida. Rick McCallum revealed the news to Entertainment Geekly this morning stating, “We are delighted to have George bring the elusive Baron back into action. Episode III was just a taste of the tricks that await up his mischevious sleeve.”

Star Wars: Barons begins production on its first season in 2007 for a 2008 bow.
